The "NWV Ocean Chat" is intended to be a platform for professional scientists and interested persons of all ages and career stages. To each NWV Ocean Chat, a scientist is invited to report in a generally understandable way about his current research and to discuss it afterwards with all participants.
On each of these evenings, there will be a generally understandable lecture by a marine scientist followed by a discussion. The focus here is on young scientists from the German Northwest.
Afterwards, a wide variety of topics can be discussed, ideas can be developed and networking can take place. The Marine Science Society of the NWV is open to form new working groups or to plan further joint activities and events.
Announcements of dates and topics will be made here via the page of the Marine Science Society, the Facebook page of the NWV and on OC- instagram and OC- twitter a mailing list. For this, please send a short mail to Simon Jungblut: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
All NWV members are invited to join the "NWV Ocean Chat" on a regular or irregular basis, to inspire others to join and to suggest topics.
