The Marine Science Society brings together marine science topics and events in the NWV. The monthly meeting, the "NWW Ocean Chat", consists of a presentation by young marine researchers and is a platform for information, networking and planning joint activities. All interested parties are welcome to attend or actively participate, regardless of whether they are professionally involved in marine science or not.

  • Monthly meeting every 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 pm for the "NWV Ocean Chat", in the clubhouse of the "Schwimmverein Bremen von 1910", Strandweg 102. Geoposition 53.06736, 8.81791.
  • The Marine Science Society organizes the annual marine science conference "ICYMARE" (www.icymare.com). Also open to listeners of all ages!
